Icecap battery backup and jebao return pump

I got a ice cap battery backup and I hooked it up to my 100w jebao return pump. The return pump is only running at 30%. When I turn off the power the first 3 and last 3 lights on the control box for the pump light up, but the pump does not run. Can the battery backup not be used for return pump? Thanks

Are you using the Y cable to connect original pump power supply>battery>pump controller? I had an issue when I tried to just use the single cable battery>controller...
