Has anyone else out there purchased one of the testers. I picked one up yesterday and I have been playing with it since. I'm not sure how accurate it is? When I use it it says my salinity is 1.22 and my refractometer is 1.28. The temp reading states 81.5 and my other digital reader says 77.4. Any other opinions about this product? Did I waste my money? Thanks

I've heard many complaints about them. Mine does salinity correctly, but other readings usually off. When they first came out, they wouldn't stay calibrated. They replaced mine. Still not a great device. I only use mine at my mix station to see when I'm getting close to the correct salinity, then verify with something else.

Some tips: (calibration @2:25 mark)
