Just curious if everyone would share their icecap gyre settings. Im still trying to fine tune mine. Does anyone run random? Currently running square wave 5%-60% at 5 second burts, has decent motion to it.

We are using two 4k’s at 30 - 80% on Sine Wave with a 60 sec cycle duration on our 300 gallon. We also have a surge device that hits the wave perpendicular creating cross flow for random movement every 3 minutes. I recall reading that square wave was the hardest on the pumps so it’s something to consider.

I was running random, but went to sine wave because it moved more water in my tank because I’m running opposite side gyre pumps. I like the waves to meet in the tank and cause whirlpools. With the random I’m not sure if I could achieve that. Here are the presets I run.
