icecap gyre with Hydros WaveEngine LE help

I picked up this combo from BRS and can't help but feel I'm not getting the most out of it. I have a 90g display and have it mounted on the upper left side, blowing across the top, but I just don't feel like the flow is right. I've tried several of the programs and everything either feels too powerful or not enough. I currently have it set on the ocean swell setting with it capped at 75% max.

Anyone using this setup or something similar that can offer some suggestions?

only one gyre? I would suggest to get another. I have 2 icecap 2k's with hydros in my 32, two is better than 1 to manage good overall flow in all spots, especially in a big tank like yours

Thanks. what program are you using? Do you have them facing each other? I read about doing that and having them in a push pull setup that sounded pretty neat.

yes I have them facing each other, I am not savvy enough to figure out the push/pull thing, so I just set up programs that I like through trial and error. Its taken about a year of playing around with different settings to get where I am now.

I had one for about 6 months before i got my second one, the second one makes everything much easier to get rid of dead spots

Thanks for the advice. I guess I know what I'm getting me for Christmas! At least I have some BRS bucks to burn.
