Icecap/Hydros Gyre Controller public API?

I have two IceCap gyres. I wanted a cheap physical alternative to the app for triggering feeding/water change modes. Is there a publicly available API for the Hydros cloud?

Something like an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi Zero W with a small button to press that sends a command to switch to feeding or water change mode. I guess the other option would be to plug the whole thing into a WiFi/Bluetooth outlet controller that does have a public API and simply cut power to achieve a similar goal, but is less extensible in the future.

I'll have to take a look at it. I've seen ReefPi before, but I'm generally looking for something substantially lighter. Good idea though. They may have gotten into some of the internals of the controller/private API already.

Which controller did you get with them the Wave Engine LE or Ice Cap?

Just the standard ice caps

Here is a link to the online manual https://www.coralvuehydros.com/product-support/icecap-dual-pump-controller/ . There are some things in there about using 0-10v inputs to trigger modes.
