Icecap k1 50 protein skimmer loud

Hello guys I just received my icecap k1 50 skimmer and it’s makeing a lot of noise from the air Silencer it there anyway to Quiet it down?

Stick a piece of filter floss over the top or a sponge. Make sure it doesn’t change your skim height tho. Other than that you could try running a tube from the top outside via a window or hole in the wall if you really wanna get crazy. That would also help raise your PH tremendously (usually)

Did you ever figure out a solution? I just bought one and the first day was fine, by day 3 sounds like a whooshing hurricane. LOL
