Icecap Medium Co2 Scrubber Air line?

My protein skimmer air inlet is just a standard airline size. The input on the Co2 scrubber is much larger. How can i convert it to take a standard airline tube?

I know of a couple ways.
You can try reducing push connect fittings if your line is half inch wide or 3/8ths

another option is to wedge tubing inside one another. I found Amazon has many variations of I.D. and O.D. sizes

I wedge the tubing in it and it fit perfectly
