I have had several sumps over the years. In The last year I had a Tideline and bashsea sump both Leaked within a few days despite having leaked tested both of them. The acrylic panels were NOT properly glued in in the Bashsea fuge sump. The tideline LEAKED from the Back seam. Thankfully the dealer i deal with graciously refunded my money and was angry that he had sold med sumps that despite Good{relative} reputations they LEAKED, What was the chances, Crap happens. Anyway For months i dabbled with ideas and then I always had in the back of my mind Icecap. They were solid sumps BUT I did NOT like the Ato sump design. I felt it was WASTED sumps space better used as a reactor space or refugium. So i bought the 36 inch model. After much Thought I derilled out a 2 inch hole into the ato area between the sump space and wall of the ato. Now I have a fuge area and /or a reactor space the idea works perfectly . Just throwing the idea Out there for fellow icecap owners. My sump now WORKS FLawlessly and Icecap makes admirable sumps. Done with Bashsea and tideline IMO they cannot compare with the quality of Icecap made sumps. By the way had 3 bashsea sumps over the years so last one was POORLY made, Consider Icecap best buy I personally made in the LAST 2 years, Cheers!

Do keep in-mind that as a sealed chamber you're not going to have any flow passing through it unless you also have the water flowing into the return pump chamber (not recommended as there's no baffle on the side of the reservoir facing the return pump chamber).

Yes I Have a return from my reactor churning water in that portion of my sump

Yes, I realize this - but there's not really throughput if there's only a single entrance. Usually you have the water flowing through one side of a chamber and out the other - and the skimmer (reactor, etc.) receive a constant flow of new water.

The water flows into that area of sump smal lpump takes that water to reactor and back to sump constant churning of water . i don t see ur concerns, I have kept reef tanks for 40 years now I think I know what I am doing, Cheers!
