I have an icecap 40w sterilizer I'm using to fight some dinos. I have it plumbed in a janky manner with the barbs just pushed in and not glued. It is fine because I have it over the tank and if it leaks a bit it just goes back in. I'd like to plumb it properly, but I don't want to commit to permanently using barbs.

I could do something involving a series of unions, but that seems silly given the uv sterilizer body itself can be unscrewed. However, looking around I can't find any place to buy those parts. From the sterilizer manual, I believe the part I want to ensure I can later replace (to switch the connection) is "(13) 2in PVC Slip Adapter".

Anyone have a pointer to where to buy new ones of those, or a suggestion on DIYing a replacement?

I can’t help with the specific question but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some help
