The only difference I care about is the noise. The better controller isn’t a selling point for me. The new version maxpect is quieter than any icecap version.

My maxspect aren’t loud but then again they’re not all the way up, either.

I can't find my source for this anymore, but I had it confirmed at one time that Maxspect manufactures the Icecap units, so there should be little difference between the two.
I've been trying to figure out what the real differences are between the Maxspect 300 series and the 200 series. It appears to be just the snap-on deflectors, but can somebody confirm what the differences are? Is the 300-series controller actually different? And can you run the 300-series with the 200-series Advanced Controller? (I don't see why you couldn't unless the electrical connectors have changed).

i dont know why anyone hasnt done a direct head to head with icecaps vs maxspect 1k, 2k,3k,4k, 200 series 300 series etc. if brs sold the icecap version im sure they would
