Ich after 14 day cupramine treatment?

This hawk is eating like a pig and looks amazing He never showed outward signs of illness but was treated for the 14 days with copper because he was definitely exposed the last week at full copper levels and the days after I was trying to bring the copper down he was stressing and had labored breathing he is made a great recovery after being added to the new tank he has so much personality I'm really getting emotionally attached to him he looks for me and comes right up to the glass and hangs out with me whenever I'm near the tank

The clownfish my granddaughter has named Buddy never showed any signs of illness either and didn't stress even in the copper

Updated picture of the blue tang? In addition to HLLE it may have a bacterial infection. Are you treating for that?
Any updates on the Blenney?

Blenny is eating a tiny bit Pecking rocks like crazy but there is not much algea on them I might consider risk of adding a rock with some algea on it just for him if I can find one from outside source such as lfs I understand that I risk introducing new problem into the tank because it would come out of a unquarantine system but watching him Starve is also sad he is still skinny but looking a lot better I will try to get a picture of them but he's not a model and shys away every time I get the camera out

Manage to get a picture unfortunately it's under the actinic lights but when I turned whites up to get a better picture he darted into rock two days ago he was really sunken in now we looks much more normal but you can still tell he's skinny

Is it worth trying a small piece of nori rubber-banded to one of your known safe rocks?

Hippo update I have not started antibiotics I am trying to get her some good food and vitamins before next round.....if I do another round I think she has been harboring some of this stuff for a long time and while she shows some signs the only tine she really stressed had labored breathing and did not eat well was while being medicated The HLE and fin problem was present when we acquired her with the tank I am thinking of moving her to a more permanent home in my 7 year old sons room This way she would always be alone and not a threat to infecting other fish, since she would be only thing I the tank I could medicate tank as needed. My son could learn a couple things and help with frequent water changes, he wants a sw tank badly and this way he can get a taste of the work involved

Did that yesterday Not much interest but he did eat a tiny bit of the red seaweed so that's on a rock now (I literally put it in 5 min ago- it's like I read your mind LOL)

Hippo pics were all today. Her skin actually looks the best I have ever seen it and she has no spots but I did see her scratch again today She just ate a big piece of nori..... tonight I need to retest copper in her tank and then research more I am sure I will find this in my research tonight but I will need to make sure copper idea at zero before starting new medication right? Hopefully I can get to zero like cupramine claims it definitely did not drop like bottle said with water change and carbon

I'll let the experts correct me but I think he is worth saving. I would start with a 5 min fresh water dip to check for flukes, followed by a 90 min acriflavine (Ruby Reef Rally) bath to help with any infections. If the fresh water dip yielded flukes I would treat with Prazi first in a sterile QT followed by Kanaplex and Metroplex.

There are some medications that you can combine with copper. I would finish out the 30 days of copper before removing it though (assuming the 30 days isn't over yet). It's normal for fish who have flukes or ich and are being treated for it to continue to scratch for a short time after all the spots are gone. They sometimes itch as they heal.

My Hippo flashes and scratches on occasion. It still freaks me out a little. I hope to have this guy for 10+ years but I will never own another one, too much stress! Mine loves to wedge himself in the rocks to "hide" and I think he gets a little scratched up, causing him to itch, causing him to scratch. Since your Hippo has a pretty severe skin condition it could be doing it for the same reasons.
