I am so discouraged right now. I started this hobby with 2 clowns after my tank cycled. I added a flame angel without QT (FYI, DON'T DO THIS lol) and within a few days my clowns started to get a few small white dots which at first I thought was ich. It went away so I figured it was something else and kept a close eye on them. Within a week the dots came back but this time lots more, then they went downhill fast, appearance looked like it could have been Brook and all 3 fish died as I was in the process of setting up a separate hospital tank. Lesson learned. 3 months later I QT'd 2 baby clowns treating initially with Prazi then Copper Power held for 30 days at 2 PPT (tested with Hanna). Having shown no signs of anything and being perfectly healthy I added them to the DT. A month later I set up the QT again with a kole tank and firefish and am currently treating them with Copper Power at 2 PPT. So far they are 3 weeks in. I was so upset tonight to find one of my clowns in the DT swimming into the powerhead with 3-4 small white dots on him. I am 100% sure no cross contamination has occurred between my DT and QT and they are 20 feet apart. I pulled the clowns from the DT and put them in the already established QT which is already at 2PPT Copper Power so I didn't get to ramp it up, but so far the clowns seem to be doing ok. So now I have a Kole Tang, a firefish and 2 clowns in my 10 gallon QT which I'm sure is overloaded. What do I do at this point and any idea on how this happened?!

At the very beginning of the fallow period I took that opportunity to add some coral and snails but went more than 72 days without fish since last "wet" thing added.

I had a major issue. Used polylab medic for 20daysd instead of 10days with the heavy dosage method. Then introduced a uv sterilizer 24hrs for a week. Then dropped it down to 8hrs a day. Haven’t had an issue yet.

Good to hear, I’m about ready to try Medic in the DT when I see signs of ich and will continue treating only new fish in QT. The thing I hate most about this hobby is trying to catch all my fish from the DT, stressing all of them out, and tearing down my rock to catch the hard to catch fish.
