Ich back 2 times after copper

Sorry - just not clear enough for me to see (and water spots on the glass!). Even with the clearest of photos, It isn't always possible to tell visually.... however, with the spots dropping off and then returning in greater numbers, that isn't good, and does sound more like ich.

Went out of town for a week, turned on a 18 watt uv sterilizer in his 20 gallon tank. Came back 2 days ago and there are no spots on him any more. I turned it off when I got home. Is it possible the uv did such a good job that he could still have some ich that will return in a few days? Or was this likely mucus plugs or something else. Trying to decide how long to keep him in quarantine.

He is 8 days without the uv sterilizer. Still no white spots. I do not think the ich came back and that it was something else. If he can stay spot free for 6 more days, he will finally go into the display.
