Ich cold hot water treatment

Just out of curiosity could we make a system where we would pump are tank water to freezing water then back in the hot water then back to the normal temp of the water in the display tank to kill ich from the shock

I have seen this using orp chambers. Never using temp only. I will ask why? If lch is the goal then to the entire life cycle of the organism needs to be considered.

I was just throwing something out there to see what other people would say
