Good news that your clown is doing great! Glad to hear it. The fish may have built up a resistance to the parasite but this medication does not eradicate ich.

Ich also has a well known life-cycle so keep your fish husbandry and diet on point or it could rear its ugly head in the future.

Best of luck!

Thank you! I will continue to dose for another two weeks

Congrats!! So happy for you!! I am currently battling a bad ich outbreak. I am waiting for the moment I can say my babies are ich free too haha. I am currently treating with copper (2.00PPM) and TTM just in case every 3rd day.

But I agree with the other comment above. MedicPolyp doesn't get rid of ich, it is still in your tank with a risk of it reappearing and/or infecting any other livestock you add. I hear it is amazing at suppressing it tho.

I stopped dosing sunday. Still no appearances on any fish

Thanks for sharing. You will get a lot of input on this thread.

I may be wrong, copper is usually one of the only things that eradicates Cryptocaryon irritans

The big companies that sell these items to new people in the hobby is another topic. Hopefully, your fish remain free from ich. Great feeding schedule with variety, and healthy water will assist with this.

Consider running a UV sterilizer to keep ich at bay. It won't eradicate it but will prevent the eggs from reproducing

Give us an update if this medication stands a month or so later.
