Ich - How long to leave tank fallow to eradicate

I am truly sick and tired of Ich. I ha e moved all my fish to a 55 gallon quarantine tank and treating them with copper. How long do you leave your DT fallow to be certain Ich is dead and gone? I have read 6 weeks, 8 weeks and some even say 12 weeks. Is there a concensus about how long to go fallow?

+1 76 days fallow at least 10 feet away from any other marine tanks as well. Must be suuuuuper diligent about not accidentally cross contaminating the display again with water from any other tanks that could possible have any parasites in it at any stage of their life cycle.
