Maroon clown got ich today, bought a QT... Should I start with hyposalinity (+ freshwater bath too???) or start with chemical treatment (which one, herbatana, paraguard, coppersafe???) Please let me know exactly what I should do. And how long should I fallow the DT?

Neither. Feed her nori, soak food in Selcon. Keep stress to a minimum. Tank should be fallow for 72 to 90 days...as long as possible. She is your only fish?

yup. my only fish. so no freshwater bath, hypo, or chemicals? You're confident that immunity's better ?

I don't like medications, it stems from my time with reptiles I think. I don't use much for chemicals in my reef at all.

The only other thing, which I have never done, but the tank transfer method may work. If you search for it, there is s whole thread on it. I dunno, I see so many peopl on here that do all this crazy stuff and the fish dies in QT or the second it is stressed by being moved from QT back to the DT it breaks out again. Then, there are people who swear their tank is icky free by QT and medication. I think it is what you are comfortable with.
