ICH ICH and More ICH

Hey Guys, so ive been running copper (cupramine) at the recommended dosage which is 0.5 and its been 4 days and I know its not magic or something that will cure overnight but I have not noticed any improvements in fact things have gotten worse ever since putting my fish in QT...I went from 1 fish having spots to all 4 having spots...what worries me is mainly my tang as he is covered in ich!!!! Just reaching out on some advice on what to do next...I know I must leave the .5 copper dosage for 2 weeks or more...but just havent seen any improvements.

What copper product are you using? Did you ramp up copper over a period of time or dose to .5 all at once? Are you using a copper test kit? Copper can take a few days at the correct level to lead to improvement for ich. Could you post a pic so we can confirm the diagnosis?

I ramped up to .5 over the course of 3 days..Im using cupramine by seachem...I have and API test i know its not the greatest test kit...I will post a pic soon

Here are some pics sailfin tang has it the worse I did a freshwater dip in him yesterday it seemed to have helped him out cuz he started swimming and eating after the dip....also this is the first time I use copper usually i use ich x but everyone said to do copper since its much stronger and more effective.

Stay the course. It's really your only option anyway. Could be that the parasite embedded before you ramped to a therapeutic level.

The hanna copper checker is worth the money. Some of the best $$$ 's I spent in this hobby.

Oh, and pretty sure API is not compatible with cupramine.
