Can someone tell me if this looks like ich? To me, it certainly looks like ich. Also yes this is the male fish and he has his fins nipped up a bit because the female is very aggressive.

Could be Ich. Early stage Brook can look a lot like Ich. How long have the spots been there?

Are the fish new? Anything new added to the tank in the last 30 days or so that was "wet" like coral, fish, inverts?

The whole setup is primarily new. I just added a new coral 3 days ago. I've had the fish since May 16th and hadn't noticed anything until today.

OK. So when we see spots on a Clownfish the first thing that crosses our minds is Brooklynella. Early Stage Brook can present similar to Marine Ich, Velvet. Those spots look too big for Velvet. So now we watch for other symptoms. Velvet the fish will breath heavily, swim into a powerhead's flow, hide from light. Brook will breath heavily.

Should I treat both fish.

Ok, I bought a quarantine tank, biospira, a heater, and a couple pvc pipes for the fish. Do they need a light? I will treat both fish with Paraguard for 4 weeks and then observe for another 4 weeks. Does this all sound good?
