Hey guys!
So I must have ich in my tank as I've seen white spots (less than 10) on my hippo tang from time to time. I added a yellow eye kole tang and sadly he succumbed to ich. It's probably been a month now that I have seen the white spots come and go but I haven't chose to treat due to the lack of white spot progression and he seems to be able to fight it off. The kole tang was only in there maybe 4 days. The hippo is my only tang in the tank now. For what reason is my hippo getting ich but none of the others are? I have a treatment tank set up and will use cupramine. Any ways of ridding the tank of ich without going completely fallow? Is only the hippo tang being effected because of tang susceptibility to the disease? I've closely monitored all of my other fish and I see no signs of it. I seem to have the worst luck with tangs and they are my favorite.
