i currently have a 120 i recently setup i got ich from three new additions pyramid angels.

its definitely ich.

i have a 90 gallon with skimmer and sump i wanted to qt all my fish in

5 anthias
4 cardinals
sailfin tang
powder blue tang
Yellow tang
Flame angel
Fiji fox face
Royal Gramma
red velvet fair wrasse
Pair of clowns

Going to leave the tank fallow with coral, 2 cleaner shrimp, and maybe two sea urchins dont have much algae in the new tank for them to eat though.
no crabs or snails etc 120 was just setup lol

i have 100ml of cupramine in my cabinet.
90gall currently has sand, live rock covered in vermetid snails and a snowflake eel.

Any idea how to go about this?

Anyway to get all the rock and sand out before using as QT? There will be massive die off from all the vermetid snails that would spike ammonia. Also the rock and sand absorbing the meds. Lots of pvc fittings for the fish to hide. Boost the bio filter with bottled bacteria.

That's what I would try if no one has a better easier solution.

Good luck with your eradication efforts.

@Big G has you on the right track. In addition, your tank isn’t suitable in size for a sailfin or PBT, let alone together. In fact, they need twice the tank size (180 gallon minimum).

Good luck on the treatment :)

yes definitely will be removing both. Wanted to get rid of the tank anyways so will clean it down and use it bare bottom just pvc. Currently feeding fish heavy with Nori + lrs + selcon + Vitachem Everyone is eating aggressively and no ones fighting. Hopefully no deaths till friday.

Snowflake goes to lfs on friday after that i can transfer the fish to 90.

I also have a 29 gallon will be taking a look at the chart to divide up fish now hopefully can get away with the 90 and 29 will try to gve lfs sailfin on friday too.
