The dots were larger, but then disappeared. They came back, were large, and then shrunk. @vetteguy53081 @Jay Hemdal #fishmedic
 
Sorry, can you remind of the context of this? Was this an existing case?

The picture does look like ich, and when these infections start up, the spots come and go, change location and size.

Too much debris in the water to tell on video and on Pic, see concentration on tail but need clearer pics aimes at fish preferably at both sides
 
Yes. The spots got larger later in the night, then disappeared. The fish is eating and acting just fine. I don’t want it to be aggressive, so am I ok to get another male?
 
It is weird though because the other clown that died did not have ich.

More than once, ive seen pics of clowns with dots posted and suspected sand on them which too may be your case but do daily observation to assure they dont reappear
