I noticed Ich on two of my fish (Trigger and Tang). I removed them and put them in QT and they seem to be doing much better. I can't see any spots on them and will keep them in QT for two more weeks. Now I see the same discoloration and white spots on my pseudochromis and my Wrasse. Every time I try and catch my Wrasse it darts under the dirt and the Pseudo hides inside small holes in my rock.

I am now trying to use Rally and Kick Ich (one day 8 and does not seem to be working) because I cannot catch them and is the only thing I have read will "work" in a reef tank. Anyone have suggestions of something else that will work, or tricks to catching elusive fish?

Sometimes those fish can be a pain in the rear to catch. My best advice would be to drain your tank to the point where the fish really dont have anywhere to go so they're easy to catch.put the water back in the tank. Then put everyone in the qt tank and treat with copper for 30 days and let the display sit fishless for 76 days. It's the only way to 100% wipe out the ich parasite.

Ahhhh, I know it’s the right thing to do, I just don’t want to do it. I feel like a little kid being told to clean his room.

UV sterilizer once fish are all out?
