i noticed one tiny white spot on my powder blues fin should i leave her be and take care of it naturally or should i act strong and catch her and put her in qt and start dosing copper ?

btw shes eating pellets and green seaweed both are enhanced with garlic

Is this your only fish in the system? It really depends which route you want to go down on this hobby you can QT and treat for it and not have to worry about it coming back after leaving tank fallow OR you can keep your powder tang in the DT and keep him well fed and keep parameters very stable so you don’t have another outbreak but the risk is always there.

i 1 blue eye kole tang, 1 clownfish, 3 domino damsels, 1 fire fish but all fish are eating strongly and i have green alage from ocean nutrition in my tank 24/7 and i feed it all my fish pellets 2-3 times daily i do this becuase my system can handle more then what i feed so thats why i dont really worry about it and my parameters are pretty stable and also i cant keep my tank with no fish i have a bunch of corals

I looks like very mild and if he’s the only fish affected I’d make sure you’re soaking you food with either selcom or vita-chem to boost their immune system and just make sure that they’re not getting aggressive towards eachother

I have kept fish for many years with ich on the tank, making sure that they’re getting the right nutrition and they don’t get stressed out is key.
a UV sterilizer helps as well to keep those numbers down so if you haven’t added that to your system it might me a good idea to make sure it doesn’t get out of control

no one aggressive towards him nor is he towards others but like the thing is since hes eating sheets 24/7 and new spectrem pellets 2-3 times daily should i let me deal with it alone or should i catch him, put him in qt and start dosing copper?
