So I made a big mistake and I have no idea why I did it cause I knew I would have to QT my first tang cause they known to always carry Ich
I ended up getting a Scopas Tang about 24/hrs ago from my LFS who had him for about 4 weeks before I bought the little guy. Now i completely trust my LFS since all the fish I bought came from him and he always keeps the fish for me and tells me if they show signs of illness and none of my other fish were sick during my QT I even treated for internal pests to be sure.
I went and picked up the Scopas tang and he looked healthy was eating like a pig he still looks the same and eats like a pig but I noticed he started flashing at 9 AM this morning when I do my first feeding immediately I looked for white spots and he has like 3 small white spots on his dorsal fin
so I checked first with a Freshwater dip for 5 minutes it's not flukes or sand its definitely ich now I have him in my QT setup going to treat with Metroplex and Focus.
The real question is should I remove all my fish from my DT and start treating them? Or should I just keep them stress free and healthy and only treat the Scopas. So far none of the other fish show signs of flashing or spots but time will obviously tell.
I know metroplex isn't invert safe if you dose it in the water but if I use metroplex with focus to bind it to food if any of my inverts eat this will they perish?
