Hi All,
I introduced a copperband butterfly to my DT (72 bowfront) on Wednesday and yesterday was the first day he acted semi normal and started to hunt and eat. At first, I was very upset because I thought he had ich and immediately set up a QT (that I will now use for any additional fish). I decided to observe him more though before stressing him again because this one single spot has not spread anywhere else on him. I thought it did at one point but realized it was the same spot playing a trick on my eye shining through his dorsel.
None of my other fish have had ich (2 ocellaris, 1 royal gramma (also had a false alarm with a single sand spec), 1 yellow watchman goby.
I’ve looked at pics and am hopeful I lucked out that this is lymphocytis instead of ich but wanted to turn it over to more experienced people to let me know.
Thanks!
Nate
