As far as I know. My fish were doing fine. But I woke up this morning to my Hammer coral knocked off of where it was placed. I figured that my Purple tang my have knocked it off in the dark considering it's size. So i put it back on it's perch and feed the fish for the morning then I notice a mark on Dori's face (yes I know so original) I didn't see any other white dots on her body so I'm trying to determine if she hurt herself during the night or is this the beginning of an outbreak? I don't really think it's ich, but I was hoping to get a second, third, or even forth opinion on the subject. Here are some pictures but after a couple of attempts to catch her she's not to happy with me right now.

It's not protruding. It's just discolored as you see. I was thinking wound too.

I'll try to get some better pictures in a minute. Like I said...she's not happy with me a the moment. LOL

I don't think that's ich.

Keep an eye on the area. If it starts getting larger or you see redness it may be forming an infection. If it's just an injury it will likely correct itself. The fish looks fat and healthy!

Okay thanks for the input. I will definitely keep an eye on her.

That really does look like a sting. My Foxface had a run-in with a carpet nem a couple weeks ago, and had a cluster of about 20 lesions on her right flank, each smaller but otherwise very similar to that one.
