Added Bellus yesterday, not eating. Anthias are perfectly fine, eating great.

Is this ich or velvet?

I would be worried about velvet if those spots were not on the fish when you got it. Ich usually takes a bit longer to spread.

After speaking with HF, he believes Velvet. I am doing the following:
  • 5min FW dip
  • Bringing copper up to 1.50ppm minimum in 24 hours (Tank was already at 1.00ppm)

Bucket of RODI water is coming up to temp for FW dip. Spare airstone + air pump for added aeration.

What kind of copper are you using? Keep a very close eye on it in case it reacts badly, Genicanthus sp. seem to do better with copper than others, but still.

I have copper power and cupramine on hand. The tank is currently up to 1.00ppm using copper power.

Copper power (Chelated copper) is usually safer than Cupramine (ionic) copper. I wouldn't try copper sulfate on an Angel.

Thanks, I prefer copper power. My tank is already 1.00ppm using copper power. Per HF, I'll be bringing it up to minimum 1.5ppm over the next 24 hours.

To get from 1.00ppm to 1.50ppm in my 30g tank, I need to dose 8.9ml total, so I'm going to divide that out between 3 doses (1 tonight, 1 tomorrow morning, 1 after I get off work). Each dose being 2.95ml.

I just finished the FW dip. Seems like she pulled through -- did a lot of spitting on the water line. I can still see white specs similar to my picture, though it SEEMS like it reduces in quantity.
