Ich outbreak in my tank.

Not sure. Marital spat? I'm not great on fish behavior really. The only thing i can think of is maybe the are both females, but if they have been together for that long and not fought it out yet, then that shouldn't be the problem. Maybe the close quarters? Lets see.... who do i know that would know... @3FordFamily , @eatbreakfast , @evolved These guys would know what might cause this out of no where. I tagged them so they should be by to answer that question better than me.

It's a typical stress induced by the QT environment. Their territory was in the other tank and is specifically what they are missing.

Along the lines of what i was thinking, but more eloquently put. :)

Wow I thought maybe it was because of the bare bottom they were seeing double. Thanks for the info and I can probably expect some of the same behavior when they finally go back into the display tank?

Is there any cover for the clowns, such as pvc fittings. Sometimes if there is something they can 'claim' as a territory they will work together to defend it.

Yes I put a couple 2 and 3" Pvc tees as hideouts. Sad to say I lost the one clown. Between being sick then terrorized it was too much for the clown even though I separated them this morning.

I'm sorry for your loss. :(
