Ich Outbreak

My tank got hit with a very bad case of Ich. Killed all of my fish except one Clown, who is covered in Ich. For the life of me I can’t catch him and he won’t die! I want to run my tank fallow for the 80 or so days, but can’t start the clock until the Clown is out of the tank or dead. I can’t tear down my tank for various reasons, and I’ve tried everything else. Any suggestions?

Try “Kick ich” it’s reef safe!

you can use a deep clear container. then use your hands to push or scare your clown to the container: )

Wait until the tank and room has been dark for a couple of hours. Using a small flashlight find the clown and shine the light into its eyes. The light will mesmerize the fish, net it.

Try “Kick ich” it’s reef safe!

This does not eradicate ich. You must remain fallow for 12 weeks and treat the fish in QT with TTM, copper, or CP.
