Please help!!! My tank has been up and running since august. Small regal tang, coral beauty, 2 black ice snowflake clownfish, scribbled anthia and blue cheek goby. Regal tang is covered in Ich which is also on the coral beauty and the goby. Can someone advise me how to treat this as I’m not able to run a QT tank. I’m dosing eSHa oodinex which is safe for inverts. Will this work? Seriously worried about loosing my fish. 200 litre tank running off a canister fluval fx4 and have a 24W green killing machine running also. All water parameters are good

No cure outside of a qt. The best you can do is try to keep the stress low and their diet decent. A UV might help but with a heavy emphasis on might as they seem to work in that people want them to do so

You can set up a hospital tank quickly and cheaply. Just get a plastic tote or wheelie bin, saltwater (of the appropriate salinity, of course), a HOB filter, a powerhead, and a heater, and treat the fish in it. It needn't be fancy. You then have to treat the fish with copper. There are an abundance of threads on this site on how to do just that. You will also have to let the tank go fallow for at least 45 days.

You may also reduce the salinity of your tank to 1.009 SG, but this can also cause physiological stress to the fish and you have to maintain this SG with some degree of precision -- some of the parasites may survive at a higher level of salinity.

Thanks for the reply. The fish all look happy and are eating well. Got all my fingers and toes crossed

Thanks for the advice. Looks like I have a plan of action for tomorrow
