ICH problem.

I just started my only fish , live rock, and sand tank.
My fish all started to get ICH. I will move them to QT tank and treat.
However, I was wondering if I can drain the my DT and add RODI water.
will that kill the remaining ICH in the DT?
then drain and add salt water again.

Great on setting a quarantine tank. For the display, leave the display tank FishLess (Fallow) for at least 6-8 weeks to assure the cysts and trophants have completed their life cycle without a host and have died off

You can do that as long as you ensure everything that touched the infected water soaks in freshwater for at least 24 hours. Don’t use RODI, tsp water is fine. Or you can let your tank run fallow for 45 to 75 days.

Yes, most of it. That's why people more often choose the fallow method, then they keep their invertebrates, bacteria and algae.
