ICH spotted at Rainforest Cafe! :-)

If you pause the video at 53 seconds you'll notice the Regal tang has only about 3 spots of ICH on him which likely means he's developed somewhat of an immunity. However, some fish show no spots at all. ICH can remain in the gills unseen.

Ever had mysterious fish deaths for no reason?

Sadly unsurprising.

Their fish undoubtedly come through the same supply chain ours do. Employees may or may not know anything about fish, and the tank-service guy can't be there every day . . . (I wonder how much chelated copper it would take to treat that tank...)

At least its not velvet.

@Reefahholic How big of a tank are all these fish in? IME; the more gallons of water you have diluting the parasites, the better your odds are of pulling off ich management.

Yeah, I agree 100%.

The vertical tanks are over 1,000 I'm sure.

The horizontal tank is about 400-800 gallons or so.
