Ich/velvet or something else?

I noticed these in my tang today. Yesterday he didn't eat much and he was hiding more than usual. Today these white things appeared on him. Since the lights went on he is hiding and it's coming out for like 4-5 seconds and he is back in the caves. He is in the tank since early December. I know I have ich in the tank but this the first time he is that bad. Other fish are perfect and nothing except some corals are added to the tank for over 4 months

Not only represents ich but a fish known to contract ich more than others.
you will need to quarantine fish and treatment recommendation is coppersafe. I would also recommend a freshwater dip prior to quarantine to offer some relief from protozoan and eliminate any possible flukes from stress
