Noticed twitching in my fish recently (2 clarkii, 1 ocellaris, 1 chromis, 1 goldenhead goby and a lawnmower blenny). Anticipating ich, I've treated for 5 days with Ich-X and large water changes (50%) with no appreciable improvement. I'm preparing to add PraziPro on the theory that I may have misdiagnosed. Must I completely change the Ich-X treated water before trying PraziPro? Thanks in advance.

Consider trying a freshwater dip to either confirm or eliminate flukes from the situation.

If I were quick or clever enough to catch these fish without tearing the tank down, I'd have a new vocation as a magician. Thanks for the tip, though. It may come to a tear down.

Try waiting until the room and tank has been dark for at least a couple of hours. Using a small flashlight and locate a fish. Shine the light into the eyes and keep it there. It will mesmerize the fish allowing you to net it. Usually works pretty good except for den and sand dwellers. For those try a fish trap.

On a different note, do detached flukes sometimes adhere to the glass? I've got little white dots all over my glass. I thought they were snail eggs.

Ich-X doesn't work. Prazi will kill most flukes if used correctly.
