@Humblefish I'm hoping you get eyes on this!
I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find the dip or bath recommendation (even on the bottle) for ich-x in terms of amount of medication:water volume?
I'm treating what I am almost 100% certain is brooks on my clownfish.
They had an episode about 2 weeks ago where they pretty perfectly matched the very early stages of the picture in https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/brooklynella.247938/ so I did a very short freshwater dip followed by a 10-min dip in ich-x.
It went away almost completely but came back again yesterday, where I did a 25-min freshwater bath followed by a 10 minute ich-x dip. The bigger female clown looks almost symptom free today and is behaving normally, but the smaller male clown went from having the raised scales/blotchy whiteness yesterday, to having what looks like deteriorating fins today, and he is not interested in food.
A detail I am confused about is that there is no mucus on his fins like in most pictures you see of brooks, the deterioration almost look like the fins were burned or nipped away.
The concentration I've been using is 1/2tsp : 1 gallon of water for 10 minutes but I want to try again today on the smaller clown for a more extended bath and make sure my dosage is accurate.
