my blue hippo tang has ich. i used api super ich cure but it doesnt seem to have helped what should i do?..

Copper or Hypo in hospital tank. Leave DT fallow for at 3 months. Any more fish in the DT? Treat them too.

I have heard of some folks slowly raising the tank temper by 5-10 degrees over the course of a few days to a week.Seemed to work pretty well

i currently dont have a hospital tank. i dont have any corals yet just rock, fish and sand and 6 other fish. and i read that if you put copper that you then cant put snails and things in

what degrees you think would be good my tank stays around 77-79 currently

In that case I would only bump it up by about 3 degrees and see what happens.Whatever you do DO NOT dose that med in your display tank.It will seep into every nook and cranny there fore voiding any thoughts of inverts and coral.

feed that baby garlic! mine had the same thing and it was gone in a few days whatever you feed your tank let it soak in garlic x and feed him nori and it will really bump up his immune system!

i use (garlic power) by brightwell aquatics its by no means cheap but beyond worth it!!!! all my fish are benefiting for sure!

HIgher temps work for freshwater Ich, not marine ich, Garlic, while a good appetite stimulant will not cure ich. Ich is a parasite that will be ther till its killed or starved. There are only two proven methods to kill it. Copper and Hyposalinity. Both take time and patience but are effective. Unless you treat every fish in your tank it will come back. Sorry.
