I just recently bought some fish from pet solutions and one of them was a kole tang. I just noticed that the tang has some spots on its head and fins. I think it's most likely ich but I just want to be sure. He is in qt with a leopard wrasse right now.

Here are some pics.

Has it been hanging out under that Rock? Kinda looks like it bumped its head

^^I agree. Some of the spots look too large and irregular shaped to be ich. It looks like maybe he got stuck under one of the rocks and cut himself up trying to get out?

Ya, I have a big pvc elbow and and a big t that I put in there. The kole tang is a little skittish and swims away really fast anytime I get to close to the qt. I'm guessing he probably just got a little scared and scratched himself on the rock that's in there. Should the scratches heal fine on their own?

Providing a clean environment and good healthy food, yes it should be fine. Just keep an eye out for infection. Feeding vitamins (such as Selcon) with his food is a good precaution in the mean time.
