Ich?

So, just to clarify, will a 30 day treatment "cure" the fish of ich?

It should. There are some strains of ick that is possible to stay in the cyst long enough to outlast that 30 days. A two week observation period is always advised after copper treatment to be confident that the ick is gone.

Still working the logistics, but the fish will have to be separate frome the main tank for 76 days. I figure it's time to bite the bullet and start over clean. I may just add more CUC to start while I'm at it.

Yes, so the fallow time will make the observation period much easier to do... well, there's no real choice there. lol If you wish to add CUC I would suggest doing it right at the beginning of the fallow period so that anything that may come in on their shells will be eradicated during the fallow period as well.

One unfortunate thing about this situation, is that I had housed two mandarins in my 30 while moving the big tank. The 150 is now crawling with pods that they can't get to. I'm going to have to start shipping in pods for them :(

The mandys won't be able to tolerate copper. They can handle TTM to cure them of ick.
