Ich ?

Okay i have had a yellow tang and a anthis is my tank for a months now a week ago or so i added a fw molly to saltwater i was looking at my tank and saw a white spot on my anthis could it be ick ? No flashing or rubbing on the rocks eating like champs here is a pic

It could be Ich, and it definitely has the right look. Not sure I would worry too much over one spot. Is it possible it is sand or something else that has stuck to him?

Ich will stay in that position on the fish for two or three days, so if the spot is gone in an hour or three, you can breathe a sigh of relief! If it's still there two and a half days from now - or if it's joined by other spots - then get ready to do battle. _All_ of your fish will have been exposed, and would have to be treated outside your display to prevent the return of the parasites.

Not dumb.

Concerned. Caring. Sympathetic. Those things are a long way from "dumb".

Food - is food. Unless it's medicated, go ahead and feed it. They'll love it. The copper will expire in a year or three, but keep it around until it does. Given the prevalence of diseases like ich and velvet, there's almost a guarantee you'll run into them if you're buying new fish - and if you do, you'll be ready ahead of time.

It was good you bought copper. If you don't quarantine, unfortunately you'll need it soon enough and get your use out of it. If you do qt, you can use it for quarantining your fish

If you think of the possible outcomes of this situation, all you did was greatly reduce the probability of a bad one. I think you showed energy and initiative. Much better than the more common "well, I didn't want to spend the money/time to make sure my fish are healthy."
