Good morning, I have had a case of Ich. I removed all my fish and put them in QT. That said it’s been almost three weeks and my display has been without fish, completely. I have also been running a UV sterilizer for about 3 weeks as well. My fish have been in copper safe in the QT tank. About how much longer do I have to wait before putting them back into the tank?

76 days is the fallow period for ich. To he 100% sure it's erradicated from your DT.

Thanks!! I was asking because my scopus tang is starting to get head erosion. I removed the carbon in the filter but I added a powdered-tang to the QT tank a few days ago, so I don’t want to remove the copper.

Sometimes tangs, especially zebrasoma tangs get HLLE in copper for some reason. You will want to restart the 30 day clock from whenever you added the PBT.
