Probably yes but would like to confirm as TTM would be easier for me than trying to acquire a scrip for CP. Added first fish in a long time without QT (shame on me, I know) as I’ve gotten every fish in my tank from this LFS with no issue and it looked fine (golden fang blenny). Month later out of nowhere my orchid dottyback became lethargic and few days later was 90% dead on the sand covered in white spots. That was a week ago, now I see this on my Kole Tang. He’s been flashing like a wacko, a few spots in the fins I couldn’t catch a shot of. A couple white spots on my 5 year old Percula. Flame hawk and suspect addition blenny look fine.

So mad at myself. My tank is full of huge SPS colonies I’ll surely have to damage to get all the fish out. Anywho, thoughts?

Looks like ich to me, but as long as you have to remove all the fish and fallow the tank either way, why not use copper or CP and cover velvet as well?

Oh yeah, the fallow thing. I’ll have to hustle to Petco to see if they still are doing their $1/G sale. Does CP get into the silicone like copper?

I've not had any problems, but I only use CP in my fish qt tanks. Since its not practical to test for CP I cant be sure.

But really, its not an issue to worry about.

Picked up Ick-Shield powder, a second 20 long for the rock I was curing ahead of my tank upgrade, and some Selcon hoping I can keep fish healthy for a few weeks until my new tank is finished. At which point I have to tear tank down anyway, perfect time to get fish into QT.
