Some of my fishes are scratching on sand and rocks so I'm suspecting ich but I unfortunately don't have a qt set up (live in an Apt) can I treat the whole tank then do a water change after treatment? It's a Fowlr and I don't intend to add any corals or inverts any time soon

Parameters Salinity:1.023

Ph:8.2

Ammonia:0

Nitrates:40ppm (dosed some beneficial bacteria and it said nitrates might rise)

Nitrites:0

What'll be the best medicine and procedure to tackle the disease?

Forgot to mention that One of them has cloudy eyes

That could be flukes in the eye (look below):

It looks like that. What do you suggest I dose them with? I've read about hyposalinity but I won't be around to insure that it stays there. But with the medication I can explain to my mother on how much to dose.

Thank you I'll head out to my nearest lfs and buy api general cure and mix with frozen mysis shrimp( everyone goes crazy for it) and instruct my mother to drop in the carbon 24 hrs later

You'll need to dose it into the water to treat flukes. And repeat treatment 5-7 days later.

Oh ok so I'll feed them first( to ensure that they at least had a meal if they decide to not eat) then dose them. Will that take care of the ich as well?

Here's some pics

What I see on that Achilles looks like velvet: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/velvet-amyloodinium-ocellatum.217570/

NEW STRATEGY

Forget about prazi for now, and begin raising copper in there (or in a QT) immediately.

Any fish showing symptoms as bad as that Achilles really needs a 5 min FW dip (to provide immediate relief): https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/freshwater-dip.248898/

During the FW dip, check for flukes (pics below) just in case those are also present.

Oh snap! What'll be a good copper based medicine? And what can I do right now to help them until tomorrow when my lfs opens

I prefer Copper Power, but any brand is better than nothing right now. Seachem Cupramine is usually the most widely available copper medication. Also look for "Ruby Reef Rally" when you're at the LFS.

^^ 5 minute freshwater dip will provide temporary relief of velvet and confirm the presence of flukes.

The Achilles looked like this. Some clear seed shaped stuff fell off of him

Based on those two other pics you sent me via PM, the Achilles had a few flukes on him. But nothing life-threatening (at this time.) Top priority is treating for velvet. Get copper (plus a compatible copper test kit) ASAP: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/copper-treatment.193343/

Also look for "Ruby Reef Rally" if you can find it.

Ok I'll be heading out to Lfs and look for copper power and ruby reef rally. Will it be possible to treat the whole tank/ sump? If not I'll look for a 2nd hand tank for qt

You can use copper in a fish only tank with rock + sand, but two things to consider:
  1. It will take awhile to stabilize your Cu level, as rock/sand will initially absorb a lot of the copper. Daily testing is very important!
  2. Post treatment, it will take some time to remove all of the copper from the tank in order to make it "reef safe" again.

Oh thank God I was planning on removing the sand/live rock after treatment and adding some new ones. Or I'll probably remove the rocks and put some PVC instead
