Hi all, can someone tell me if the white on this tang is ich?

appears to be ich...hard to say because the resolution is low. blue tangs are synonymous with carrying these parasites. If there is one animal you quarantine this is it...powder blue/brown, and Achilles are the other tangs that fall into the group. they have then slime coats that make them prove to this issue. it would behoove you to treat these guys for this disease because the succumb to this quickly in and aquarium.

Kind of hard to tell, but it likely is Crypto(what the hobby calls Ich) do you have other fish in the system right now? Do you have a quarantine tank?

Thank you, I just took it out of my display tank right when I noticed it. Is it too late for the tank?

I have a handful of other fish I the system and no I do not have a quarantine tank, currently I took him out and placed in a container with an air stone

Looks like Ick.
Treat him in the bucket if you have no choice, only three ways, you pick what is best for you.
Beware of ammonia, so change water in bucket frequently.
There would be a high risk your tank is infected as well.

Yes, you will need to either remove all fish, place them into QT and let the tank go fallow for a long time, 76+ days, some believe as long as 90 days for the other lifecycle stages of ich to die out OR look into ich management in tank.
