I see this white patch on my brown powder tang , need help to Id it. It is acting normal. Eating healthy.

Looks very much like a gash. Being a skiddish tang, likely got startled and nicked itself. Also assure there is no aggression/war with another fish going on as those could also be bite marks.
Although Melafix would help it heal, saltwater fish have a nack tto repair themselves quickly

Ok, she does like to play a lot and I have seen her bump into rock work a couple of times when excited. No aggression with any other fish. I will just observe her for a few days.
