Ick/velvet?

last night when feeding my fish I noticed all my fish had white Spots all over them ,but I didn’t notice any spots that morning In a panic I rushed to the lfs and got ick treatment and dosed them. Agin this morning when I looked they all have no white spots at all but my tang keeps scratching on the rocks. Everyone ate well this morning and all seam fine other than my tang. I’ve been in this hobby over two years and have never seen this before

Were the spots raised like granules of salt or flush with the skin and too many to count?
