Hi, I had a ick outbreak and I have 1 fish that's remaining. It's a yellow Coris wrasse and he looks super healthy no spots no scratching nothing looks totally normal. My question is I don't want to add any more fish for 60 days. But do I need to catch the wrasse and put him in QT and start copper or anything? Then start my 60 days fallow? Or just leave him in there and if he's fine in 60 days I can add more fish? Tia.

You would need to remove all the fish and you're better off waiting 76+ days without fish. Maybe try TTM with the Wrasse.

Sorry to hear you have an ick outbreak. Unfortunately you have to remove the yellow coris and put him into a QT for treatment. Fallow period for you DT should be at least 76 days. 60 days might be to short for comfort. The trick now is capturing the yellow coris. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

Ok thanks for the input I'll catch the wrasse today and start treatment for him. Well I'll try and catch it haha. Probably going to need to remove everything. Also since it's a wrasse should I transfer some sand over as well?

agree with all above.
Your clock for 76+ days will not start till the last living fish comes out of the tank.
Any living fish may or may not showing sign of ich can carry ich without you knowing (specially in gills) and soon as you add perfectly healthy fish that had been treated and qt properly, ich will spread again.
Catch the last fish and take it out and treat accordingly.

Pull the wrasse and drop it into a QT.

Keep treatment simple; start by doing fresh water dips 3-5 minutes per day for 5 days and hypo salinity in the QT. That worked for me, and any time you can treat without chemicals is preferred.

I like round numbers, so I go fallow for 90 days, just to be sure.
