For anyone interested i had received an ICP-Analysis for christmas and i had an ATI analysis as well and decided to send both in at the same time with the same sample water to see how they matched up and here are the results.

Interesting. It looks like there are some pretty big differences - like a 8x difference in the measured phosphorous concentrations. Also, it is weird to me that they disagree by more than 1ppt on salinity - only about a 3% difference, but, I would think they would get parts per thousand exactly right, since they are claiming to be able to accurately measure in the parts per billion range. Both these companies should really put confidence limits on their measurements.

I'd send a email with both results to ATI and ask what they think. I've never used the first vendor but have used ATI has a reference for a bit now. Seem to be close to what I manually test for.
