Hi all was wondering how my results look. I am not a fan of their layout of displaying results. First time using this company. I am wondering why my salinity is that high when I have checked with both calibrated refractometer and Hanna handheld salinity checker.... both show 35ppt.... not close to 37... also where is alkalinity!?! Anyways any input would be appreciated. My reef is close to a year old and sps is not really happy and thriving at all. Trying to figure it out. Thanks!

No ICP test does alkalinity, to my knowledge. Nor did they advertise it?

Strange for salinity. What calibration solutions are you using for the refractometer?

Plugging your results into a calculator (I cant recall who originally created it), your salinity is closer to 33ppt. Personally, I'd stick to ATI or Triton for analysis. There are a number of threads here that show less than stellar results from this company. I attached the calculator for later use should you desire. And for what it's worth, ATI does measure alkalinity but I dont recall what test they perform.

Oh I just figured it was tested... just wanted to compare to trident results. I use calibration solution for refractometer.... And a fresh Hanna calibration packet used for their handheld checker. Could the salinity be causing issues? Appreciate the help.

Thank you! Yes I will not use them again I’ll go with triton since they have US based testing now.
