I sent in a sample since I have issues with lps and I can't use even a drop of aminos in my tank. Besides my calcium being abnormally low most things look pretty good but I have a few questions. (I tested my calcium at I think 355 which I got lazy testing because I hadn't had to bump it in a while. I added Radions and all of a sudden I am using more calcium compared to my old lights while alk consumption has barely moved. This test shows about 50ppm difference from my salifert kits. No idea which to believe.
So according to NSW the Gallium in my tank is very high. From what I understand it is a metal with a very low melting point. Is there any reason to believe that these levels are toxic to the fish or corals. My corals look great. Even when a torch has popped a head the colors are vibrant as the current washes it around the tank polyps partially extended.
This is all Reefgrow except food. All reefgrow salt for about 1.5ish years and all Reefgrow dosing for at least 2 years. Alk, mag and calcium. Once in a while bromide, iron and manganese.
Once ever couple months I may put a couple drops of lugols in.
I feed a ton of different frozen foods like brine, myis, oyster eggs and more.
So where can gallium come from , is it harmful and does anything look out of whack compared to other test results?
I am really happy seeing such low Tin and Aluminum levels.

That cannot be correct. There's no way to use calcium without using a lot of alkalinity. At least 2.8 dKH for each 20 ppm of calcium.

You sure it isn't a water change issue with a lower calcium/high alk salt mix?

Or a bad test kit. I will use a back up kit this evening to check for sure.
While I have not checked the latest bucket I am using I have tested several over the last 20 something I have used and it has always tested between 400 and 420 on calcium.
The alk generally tests in the 135 to 145 range.
These are fresh mixed tests. Not from my tank.
My tank does not take equal doses of alk and calcium. Say 1ml of alk does not mean automatically dose 1ml of calcium. I dose according to results from testing. That may just be from the strength of my dosing mixture.
I do know my alk solution is saturated and will not hold anymore in suspension without a stirrer. Which I do have now.
I am dosing 409ml a day of alk lol so I am using alot. I did not mean to imply I wasn't. It just appeared that I only went up a few ml's of alk after the change and 30 or 40ml of calcium which is what I have found to be backwards from normal.
I am really questioning that calcium kit since it was so far off from this icp test. Hoping that the icp is at least close.

Thank you for the reply Randy.
